This is day 226 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode we begin in the International Paystar 5600TS with a load of Long Logs onboard, just at the ravine leading up the House in the North, and we manage to make it up the ravine and deliver the first load of long logs to the house in the North for the Big Trees to Small Houses contract. We then turn around and retrace our steps, but have some serious challenges in the ravine, almost tipping over, but after a while we manage to get back onto our wheels again and continue down the ravine and back and around the path to eventually rejoin the main road and cross the muddy water crossing to return to the Garage. We refuel from the fuel carrier trailer as we go past, and continue down the main road to turn off up the rocky gorge to the Northern Logging Station where we load our final load of Long Logs for Wisconsin, and then head Eastwards up the hill and past the house, then down beside the Garage to rejoin the main road (and refuel from the fuel carrier trailer again). We continue heading down the main road, across the muddy water crossing, then up the hill to the Generator site and on along the grassy path to eventually come to the nasty ravine for the final time. We manage to get around the tight turn and climb the ravine, and after a bit of a struggle get up and onto the plateau to deliver the final load of Long Logs to the House in the North to complete the Big Trees to Small Homes, which completed the final activity for Wisconsin. So with Wisconsin 100% complete, we then detached the long log trailer back-end, and returned back the way we had come to the Garage where we parked for the moment. We then switched to the White Western Star 4964 with the fuel carrier trailer attached, and nipped back to the Fuel Station to get just enough fuel to fuel up our trucks here, then returned to the Garage and refuelled the Paystar, Pacific P512PF and White Western Star, and put each of them into the Garage, did a full repair on each, took a lot of the add-ons off (particularly winches and configurations) and then stored then all ready for the next region. We finally hopped down to the Grainwoods River Garage, and did the same with the Ford F750, Loadstar 1700 and CAT 745C so we were completely packed away in Wisconsin ready to go to Amur!
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
No mods;
Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
