Rust Console Edition just revealed a huge look at what’s coming next in Dev Blog 51. In this video, we break down the newest Rust Console Edition news, roadmap details, World 2.0 Part 2 updates, higher player capacity servers, the new RPG DLC, and the free 5-year anniversary rewards coming to PlayStation and Xbox players.

World 2.0 Part 2 is still one of the biggest upcoming Rust Console Edition updates, bringing caves, Radtown, and several other new features to the game in June. After World 2.0 Part 1 added bigger maps, new terrain, rivers, lakes, roads, canyons, and major map changes, Part 2 could make the world feel even more dangerous, more competitive, and more rewarding to explore.

Double Eleven also gave us a new look at the roadmap for the second half of the year. This means Rust Console Edition players finally have a better idea of what to expect after World 2.0 Part 2, and it looks like the rest of the year could be packed with major updates, new content, and changes that keep pushing Rust Console closer to the full survival experience players have been waiting for.

One of the biggest pieces of news is higher player capacity servers. Double Eleven confirmed they’ve been testing higher pop servers on the PTB, with an initial goal of supporting 125 player servers later this year. If this works well, it could completely change Rust Console Edition wipes, making maps feel more alive, more active, and way more intense for PvP, raiding, monuments, and server owners.

We also talk about the new RPG DLC, which includes a new RPG Launcher skin and unique rocket ammunition skins. For players who love raiding, boom, and loud wipe-day chaos, this could be one of the coolest weapon skin drops Rust Console Edition has had in a while.

On top of all that, Rust Console Edition is celebrating its 5-year anniversary with free rewards. Players will be able to claim the free Scrap Memoir SKS skin from June 4 to June 18, and a free 5 Year Anniversary AK skin from June 25 to July 9. If you play Rust Console Edition, make sure you don’t miss these because they’re limited-time anniversary skins.

This video covers Rust Console Edition Dev Blog 51, Rust Console news, Rust Console roadmap updates, Rust Console World 2.0 Part 2, Rust Console caves, Rust Console Radtown, Rust Console 125 player servers, Rust Console higher pop servers, Rust Console RPG DLC, Rust Console free skins, Rust Console anniversary rewards, and everything new coming to Rust Console Edition in 2026.

If you play Rust Console Edition on PlayStation or Xbox, this is one of the most important dev blogs to pay attention to. Between World 2.0 Part 2, higher player capacity servers, new DLC, free skins, and the second-half roadmap, Rust Console Edition could be heading into one of its biggest years yet.

Drop your thoughts in the comments: what are you most excited for? World 2.0 Part 2, caves, Radtown, 125 player servers, the RPG DLC, or the free anniversary AK and SKS skins?
