Rodent ministomp by Harley Benton|Distortion pedal review
Here's the first of a series of reviews of the new (kinda) minipedals from Harley Benton, the Rodent! So this is a... hmm... its Harley Benton's take on the ProCo RAT pedal.
This pedal is described as "quality vintage distortion inspired by 'classic circuit'", yeah, as said that's the ProCo RAT pedal. Further more it features three modes; normal, turbo and solo. The controls are volume, distortion and filter. And while I don't own the RAT pedal (darn it, one day I will!) it's in my opinion a very cool little rodent, going from distortion into fuzzy tones.
And for some reason unknown to me, this pedal is no longer available. Was it too close to the original? I dunno but for now it's gone. Maybe it will return, for the price (so low!) I certainly hope so.
