How To Set Up Master Pages For Your Book Adobe Indesign CS6
This video will show you how to set up the Master Pages in your Adobe InDesign document. Master pages are important because they allow you to make a change on the page and then have it reflect on all of your other pages. This saves a lot of time and hassle when laying out your book.
You will learn how to insert special characters including how to automatically add page numbers to all of the pages in your document. You can also have your book title appear in the header of your document and an all of your book pages. In addition, you will also see how to get the chapter title on all of your book pages. You can do this by inserting a text variable. If you don't have the right text variable then you will also learn how to define a new text variable and add it to your document.
