Posing and flexing help increase blood flow, improve the mind–muscle connection, and create a strong pump. When you flex with full intensity, you get vascular dilation and strong muscle activation.
When I don’t have time for a full workout, I use this as a mini workout. Strong isometric contractions can stimulate the muscles even without weights and help maintain strength and definition.
