Setting up MQTT in Home Assistant with Node-Red examples!
This video is a quick walk through of how to setup Mosquito, an MQTT Broker via the home assistant addon store. I'll use the Dynatap project to demonstrate an MQTT Publisher. I talk about the basics of what MQTT is, what the broker does, and how to get it setup. Then I jump over to Node-Red and show how to subscribe to topics and call services to have home automation actions occur based on what topics get data.
