After I put the eyepiece in the freezer for several hours, it of course turned very tightly. Perhaps there could be problems in the cold. But at a temperature of about 0 degrees Celsius, I had no problems during the observations.
I took pictures through the eyepiece with a smartphone camera. The eye can certainly see better.
