Sentiment from Google Headlines - News Data Scraping BOT
Want to know how we scraped 20 years of news data from Google News for sentiment analysis in Machine Learning? This is a very brief video showing how we used Selenium and Scrapy in Python to scrape news headlines and sub-headlines from Google News.
We then used bag of words to see if this yielded any positive edge in trading. However, this was unsuccessful (and not shown in this video).
