Creating a Workflow:
As now we know the basics of workflow. In this video we will create a workflow to automate the page publishing process.
Go to the workflow console, select the model card. Here, create a workflow named Request for publishing.
Select this model and click on edit. It will open a editor console where you can edit this workflow.
Notice here we have flow start and flow end. Also notice we have step1. open step1 and title it validate content and provide a description. In the next tab you can assign it to any user/group. I am assignin it to admin. Click on ok. Now drag the activate page/asset from the WCM workflow. Open it's properties and title it publish a page and description as a process to publish a page. Click on ok.
Now look at workflow from the starting we hve flow start, validate the content, publish the page and flow end. Save this worklow and select it and start workflow.
It will ask for the payload, select the page you want to publish and click on ok. Workflow will start running.
IN the notification, you will see a notification, select that and complete it. Once that is done you can go to the page and from the page info you can see the page has been published some seconds ago.
This way you can create a worklow.
In next video we will create our own custom workflow.
