Does Weight Affect Microgreen Germination? | 3 Weight Levels on Sunflower

Weight during germination is one of the most commonly debated techniques in the microgreen community. Too little weight can lead to uneven germination and seeds that don't anchor into the medium properly. Too much weight can crush seeds or prevent them from lifting during sprouting. Sunflowers are the ideal test crop because their large seeds make weight effects more visible — and the results from this three-level test help you dial in the right amount for your own grows.
