Crypt of the Necrodancer - Crypteque (1-2 with real voice shopkeeper)
When I sat down to record this one, I was confident I could nail all the parts, but my voice would systematically break on the early held B flat. I really wanted to sing it in the modal register, so I had to give up and retry the next day. Luckily it worked fine then, and I was even able to hit the later C sharp without going falsetto.
Both of those notes were impossible to me before I began this project; it's training me as I go. I just hope going through zone 2 broadens my vocal range enough for the crazy highs of 3-1 and 3-2.
(For the record, Victor is the two-and-a-half-year-old boy of a friend of mine who kept asking his parents to play my earlier Necrodancer videos.)
