I left Russia one year ago, in March of 2022. I was one of the tens of thousands who moved to Georgia. A lot has happened and changed since then, but one thing became clear to me: the Russian passport is a really big roadblock when it comes to trying to move to other countries (especially in the West and EU) and even just travel there. What is it like to have a Russian passport in 2023? What is it like to live as a Russian in exile? These are the questions I want to cover in this video, as well as discussing my plans for the future and overall feelings (spoiler alert: I am pretty hopeless right now).
