Designers are still sending static mockups to clients and wondering why they are not closing projects at the rates they want. A client who sees a flat design has to imagine how it moves. A client who sees it moving does not have to imagine anything. Same for Developers.
Figma Motion changes what is possible at the design stage. Before this, showing animation meant either building a prototype with limited interactions or handing a bunch of notes to a developer and hoping they understood the vision. Now the whole thing lives in the tool you are already designing in.
