In this review, I'm going to take a look at a beer from Side Project Brewing (@sideprojectbrewing251), and it's their Parfait (Blend #6). This is a blend of a Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and Imperial Stout that is conditioned on vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and strawberries. I've never had a beer from Side Project, but they've been hyped for many years now, so I'm super excited to give this one a go. Let's see how it is! Commercial Description:
A blend of Imperial Stout and Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (the Generational recipe aged for 2 years in Blanton's Barrels) then finished on what is described as a Neapolitan Ice Cream inspired amount of Strawberries, Vanilla Beans, and Cocoa Nibs.
