Inputs and Outputs as defined by a Process Control Engineer
Defining process inputs and outputs is a lot more complicated than I initially thought when I was learning about process control. In this video, I share how I now approach this topic.

1. Fully understand the control objective/problem statement
2. Define the output(s) based on what you want to control FIRST
3. Define the input(s) based on what affects those outputs
The mistake I made is assuming to understand what are inputs before knowing the outputs. I hope this video helps!
