ABC TV Coverage of the Loma Prieta Earthquake that occured near San Francisco on October 17, 1989 during game 3 of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and Oakland A's. The video starts out with coverage of the baseball game, but cuts out briefly about 3 minutes in when the earthquake happens. At about 7 minutes in, the network switches to an episode of Roseanne as they once again lost contact with the baseball game. From then on it switches back and forth between local coverage, national programming, commercials, and ABC News coverage.
