Roshan Khan suffered a massive blow when his young and gifted son, Torsam Khan, died of a heart attack on the squash court in 1981.
Little did he know that Roshan Khan had another son—Jahangir Khan—who was destined to become the squash phenomenon of the country.
Roshan was hesitant to allow Jahangir to play squash because of the untimely death of Torsam.
The circumstances, however, took a turn, and Jahangir emerged as not only the unbeatable champion of the sport but also a living legend.
Jahangir’s string of achievements somewhat helped Roshan Khan ease the grief caused by Torsam’s death, but Roshan could not fully get over his huge loss, and he died on January 6, 2006, in Karachi.
