On September 11th, despite a rather long period of no rain, we decided to go mushroom picking in the forest, and we were right on the money. We were in the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region. We almost never go into the forest very early, so upon arriving, we encountered mushroom pickers already heading out with full baskets. This certainly didn't inspire optimism, but we didn't lose it, as the morning mushroom pickers were mostly saiga antelopes. We love a truly quiet hunt, and this approach rarely let us down. We collected our basket of excellent mushrooms!
