Dji Osmo Action 3 - Crazy Behavior
Doing what you can with what you have is sometimes not good enough.
Watch a few crazy actions with the Dji Osmo Action 3 camera.
@fishycomics has shown on his channel that he cannot Horizon Calibrate his camera. And also a few other tricks, where some of the modes are missing from the mode swipe action. My camera on the other hand has Custom settings where there shouldn't be any, because they are turned off in the settings. Overall all those untested buttons in the user interface of that camera lead to confusion. When listening to the Voice Prompt, the camera also listens, and thinks it should take a photo, because the camera said Playback Photo. It also takes photos when i say egg photo.
It is hard to imagine that none of their product testers saw that when they were testing the camera, or did they?
Nobody is perfect, and i am sure all this can be fixed with new firmware. And as we know Dji, they are very good in supplying new firmware for their equipment. We, the users just have to find all the bugs first.
On the same note: Dji, if you read this, please: The settings Format and Factory Reset are too close together. It is very easy to select Factory Reset when you just want to Format the SD card.
