43, Online SolidWorks Class. Drawings Part 3: View Layouts, Like Windows to View Your Model. In this video we will discuss the different View Layout options for use in a drawing. View Layouts, in a SolidWorks drawing can be considered as perhaps windows to view your model from different angles. These View Layouts include the Standard 3 Views, the Model View (allowing the placement of many views, one after another), the Projected View (the view off the projection of an existing view), the Auxiliary View (projected off of an angled edge on an existing view), the various forms of the Section View (the big cut), the Detail View (getting close), Breakout Section (what’s inside), Break View (making a long view shorter), the Crop View (seeing only what is needed) and with an assembly model the Alternate Position View (seeing an assembly part in different positions).
