Philip Forrer has been experimenting with raised bed gardening for over 40 years in Southwest France.
In this film, you'll see how he sustains himself year-round with his vegetable garden.
A huge thank you to him for sharing his knowledge.
When I first met Philip, I had an old digital camera in my backpack and only used it to take a few photos.
But when Philip began sharing his vision and knowledge with me, I felt it was a privilege to have these discussions with him and that it would be a real shame to keep them to myself.
So I asked him if I could record these conversations, pulled my old digital camera out of my bag, pressed the "record" button, and suddenly started making this unexpected film!
It was my very first film, made in 2015/2016 with amateur equipment, and now I've become a videographer.
What a joy!
