REPEAT A PATTERN in Adobe Photoshop

STEPS
1) Open photoshop and create a new document with dimensions of 1000px x 1000px at a resolutions of 300 dpi
2) Place the image that you want to repeat in the center of you document
3) Duplicate the layer containing your image
4) Go to the filters menu and select the offset filter, then both the horizontal and vertical sliders to 500px and hit ok
5) Select the entire image, then go to the edit menu and click define pattern
6) Finally, with the whole image still selected go to the layers tab, click new fill layer and then select pattern, hit OK and then use the slider to scale your brand new repeat!
