Welcome to my Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint tutorial series! In this first episode, I'm going to show you how to implement a simple interface to share character information between objects. This approach is more efficient than casting to an object and results in cleaner, easier-to-maintain code.
Interfaces are a powerful tool that can be used for various purposes, such as sharing hit damage between objects, creating interactable objects, and much more. Unfortunately, they are often overlooked in other tutorials, which is why I'm excited to explore them in more detail.
Throughout this tutorial, I'll be using Unreal Engine 5.1, but the concepts and implementation are similar across other versions. Plus, I'll be using assets from the Advanced Locomotion System, which is available for free on the Unreal Engine Marketplace.
I know I made some mistakes in this first video, but I promise to improve and provide high-quality content in future episodes. So, if you're interested in learning more about Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint, make sure to hit the subscribe button and join me on this journey.
