Tonight, Sophie invites James to step into her world for his first single date. Excitement quickly turns into fear for James, as this sees him face one of his biggest fears - performing in front of crowds of people. Then later, the boys head back to school for a competitive group date, but only one will be head of the class and win extra time with Sophie. At the cocktail party, battle lines are drawn between Jarrod and Blake in a fiesty confrontation over a pot plant.

Australia's first celebrity Bachelorette is Sophie Monk, 37, a singer, actress, and TV/radio personality who decided to leave Hollywood behind and come back to Australia in the hopes of finding a good "Aussie bloke" to fall in love with and settle down. While living in Los Angeles for ten years, Sophie dated rock stars and movie stars but struggled to find lasting love. Given her high profile, Sophie hasn't always attracted men with the right intentions and it was her Mum who suggested that she become the Bachelorette so that she could meet a down to earth guy who isn't in her industry and who truly loves her for her. Eighteen eligible men from across Australia have put themselves forward to try to win Sophie's heart. Over the course of the series, there will be spectacular single dates, competitive group dates, lavish cocktail parties, emotion-charged rose ceremonies and some unexpected twists and turns. It all culminates in a dramatic final rose ceremony at an exotic overseas location, where Sophie makes her final choice, and begins her future with the man of her dreams.
