Panasonic Lumix Lx100 Sensor Dust Fix – Does It Actually Work?
The Panasonic Lumix Lx100 is widely loved for its fast lens, compact size, full manual controls, and beautiful image quality. It’s almost the perfect travel and street photography camera. But it’s also notorious for a major flaw: sensor dust.
In this video, I put a potential sensor dust solution for the Lx100 to the test. Using a vacuum hoover, I attempt to remove dust from the sensor without disassembling the camera. It’s a risky and unconventional method — but could it actually work? I test the fix and show images throughout the process.
After the attempted fix, I took the Lumix Lx100 out for a real-world street photography test to see how the images hold up. Is this iconic compact camera still worth using in 2025?
