Multi-wear shawl or scarf from a rectangle - simple machine knitting tutorial
Machine knitting idea for a multi-wear shawl, caplet, or scarf. This project is made from a simple rectangle shape, then fold it in half lengthwise, and sew up (or crochet) the sleeve seams. The concept is very simple. It can be done with either hand-knit or machine-knit. I use an LK150 knitting machine and DK-weight yarn. It will take less than one day to knit up. Add lace, cable, or any pattern instead of stockinette stitches for your own design.
