I Was Banned From Path of Exile 2 for Correctly Using Game Mechanics : Satire
I truthfully don’t know how this video will be received by the community or the federal cybercrime division. I hope to be unbanned, and ideally placed in charge of rewriting the game’s security protocols so future developers won’t fall for JPEG login screens.
If I come off as upset in the video, it’s because I very much am—I had just reinvested my phishing profits into Beanie Babies and now I’m down 14%.
I’ve always been the kind of person who refuses to accept being wronged, especially when I am the one doing the wrong.
I can definitely be a little petty—like selling “Developer Only” items on Etsy under the name “CraftedByGod.”
I don’t harbor any hate for the developers or the interns I impersonated. Regardless of the outcome, I will eventually return to the game—most likely under a new name, new IP, and a slightly more convincing mustache.
If you haven't seen the video I'm parodying that's good. You can watch it with fresh eyes. I needed the laugh so I'm glad they made it. Really though. No hate towards that guy.
