Rubik's Cube: Match a Random Scramble on a Solved Cube [Roux & CFOP Walkthrough + Tutorial]
Today, I show you my technique, my approach to matching a scrambled cube, onto a solved cube. The premise goes like this: You have been given 2 cubes. One is a solved cube, with all the sides and colors matching. The other cube is a scrambled cube (none of the sides are matching), with a random scramble. Now, you have to match the scramble on the scrambled cube, and get the same scramble on the solved cube. How will you do that? Let's learn via practical walkthrough example, done in a tutorial manner.
The problem isn't anything difficult. You can use any method to match the cubes, like Beginner's Method, BLD 3-Style, CFOP, Roux and other methods you might prefer. The only thing that matters is your understanding of the cube, the intuition behind piece movement, and how your method is affecting the state of the cube and the pieces. In this video, I show Roux mainly, and also show CFOP Last Layer, since I believe the main problem occurs during the LL, and not during Cross & F2L. For CFOPpers, approach Cross & F2L like I approach First Block (FB) & Second Block (SB) and when you come to Last Layer, solve the corners using 2-Look-OLL Algs (I too use them), and for edges follow approach 2 = 13:08
