HOW TO Use imovie App On iphone | IOS Tutorial Overview On iphone | imovie Editing | imovie videos
iMovie is free with apple users.
This is the IOS version , the computer version is a little different. I have some request to create something explaining how to edit videos on your iphone for real estate. I typically use final cut pro or adobe premier to edit my movie videos but this is a great solution for when you are on the go. I tend to use this when i want to create a quick instagram story for real estate. I might be at an open house that day and I will get there a few mins early take some quick footage of the home.Once I take the footage of the real estate property I will spend 10 mins to create a simple video edit on my iphone. I then post the video on social media stories to draw some more hype of my open house that day. So it's a great option as a realtor to use. Although, it will never come close to my final cut pro (FCP) or adobe after effects.
Tap on icon,
1. You will see a VIDEO window will show all your camera roll contents.
2. Next tab is the PROJECTS tab
3. And IMOVIE THEATER which Is your personal cinema on your devices. So when you store to your iCloud account you will have access to all your movies to watch.
Start project
1. Click your projects tab
2. Tap on the large + sign ..
3. 1st is to create a movie , second is to create a trailer to follow a template to create a Hollywood style movie trailer.
4. We are gonna select the first one “ create a movie”
5. We need to add the media for our project by using the media options. Media button is located on left top.
6. To load a video you want to use. Tap on the video select the check icon.. If you are not sure if you want to use a clip you can check the footage first. You can tap on it and hit play. You will see a preview to allow you top see the content of your video clip.
7. To cut the video you can use the yellow bars located on right and left of the clip. Shorten it or use only the parts you want. You will see a preview on where you are cutting.
8. Then tap on the check icons to add the video clips you want .
9. After you select all the media you want . You can tap the “ create movie “ option . And iMovie will also list how many media items you have and duration of all content.
10. Now we create movie in the main editing screen. We have our preview window. And we have our time line below it . You can use your finger to swipe and drag or adjust clips.
11. Tap and hold the clip you want to move.
12. Tap clip to bring up the yellow to shorten clips to the duration you want to start and stop the video clip.
13. Creating transitions. Blending the “out” and “in” points of your clips.
14. We have options like none, theme default, Dissolve, slide , wipe, fade,
15. Start by selecting the transition symbols and tap one. We can change duration of transitions and add sound FX
16. Tap on the clip. And you will have a few options, detach audio , duplicate, split, Also, you have an actions tab , speed, volume , titles and filters.
17. Few options. Spilt a clip in half. Detach the audio … speed of video.
