From TrekWorks AMT 1/1400 Scale Clear USS Enterprise D Build With LED Lighting PT 4

Welcome to Pt 4 Of the AMT 1/1400 scale clear Enterprise D model kit.
I have worked out the lighting of the warp nacelles using some LED tape.
I used Smooth Blue for the Flux Chiller Grills and Red for the Bussard Collectors.
I also used a 3mm White LED at the tail of the Nacelle for the Marker Light.
I have done some more work on the saucer top and the Aztec Decals are laying down really good. I used some Testor's Decal Bonder to help seal them down on the surface.
After it dried, I sprayed on a layer of dull coat to seal them up.
I have cut in the trenches for the wiring to the Nacelles. I am going to fill them in with putty and sand until flush. The Decals cover the area and I will see how it looks then. I may not need the trench cover kit.
I have decided to use multiple strips of the LED Tape in the Warm White color to light the Saucer. Speaking of the Saucer, I discovered that the lower half of of this one was severely warped. It has a big wave in it from the center all the way to the front edged. It looked almost melted. I used some mild heat from my heat gun and it immediately made it worse:(
