IPT stands for Insulin Potentiated Therapy and takes advantage of insulin’s ability to drop the body’s sugar levels to a minimum. Cancer feeds off sugar and this leaves cancer cells weak and hungry. A low dose (between 10-30% of a normal dose) of chemotherapy is applied which is absorbed by the hungry cancer, destroying it, while avoiding the typical side effects we associate with chemo.
