Funding to Combat High Rates of Maternal and Infant Mortality in the BX
Council Member Vanessa Gibson recently allocated over 260,000 for Bronx Doula programs through Bronx Links and 150,000 to Gotham's Health WIC Breastfeeding program. The Doula Programming with Bronx Health Links, is aimed at getting women of color the care that they need.
