Shocking CCTV Footage of Atiq Ahmed's Gang: Failed Attempt to Kill Umesh Pal Captured on Camera
A recently surfaced CCTV footage has revealed that the attack on Umesh Pal, a prime witness in the Raju Pal murder case, was not a one-time attempt. As per reports, the footage shows that Asad and his accomplices had made a failed attempt to kill Umesh Pal on February 21, three days before the successful attempt on February 24. The footage, which is about 4:17 minutes long, has been shared widely on social media.
The CCTV footage also reportedly shows that the attackers had conducted a recce before targeting Umesh Pal, indicating that the attack was premeditated. The footage has led to questions about the police's involvement in the case, as a police vehicle is also seen in the CCTV that reportedly failed to prevent the attack on Umesh Pal.
Umesh Pal was a key witness in the Raju Pal murder case, and his testimony was crucial in securing a conviction. The attack on him has raised concerns about the safety of witnesses in high-profile cases and the need for better witness protection programs.
