Static Routing is a manual routing that is created, maintained and updated by Network administrator. This routing technique saves CPU and RAM overhead by saving bandwidth but the only limitation is- it’s impractical on a large network. That is why dynamic routing comes into effect. In this, routing is created maintained, and updated by routing protocols running on a router. Also, it is simpler to configure on large networks.
