After Sean Strickland defeated Izzy in the biggest UFC upset in championship history people were quick to start guessing who his first defense will be. While Dana White stated that the immediate rematch makes sense, most of the MMA community seem to disagree, as do I. Izzy is 1-2 in his last 3, and he was just dominated for 4 out of 5 rounds, it is hard to say he deserves the rematch. It is time for the middleweight division to move on and a matchup against DDP would help push it in the right direction.
