Everyone's storing photos wrong
This is one question, I don't get asked a ton, because people think they already know!
However, it's not as straightforward as it seems. The best place to store digital photos for the long haul is a NAS.
NAS = Network Attached Storage, and is a device that has multiple hard drives that back each other up. So if one drive fails, the others pick up the slack until you can get it replaced.
Do not rely on your phone, what if it gets lost, broken, etc.
Cloud storage can get expensive
Standard external hard drives can fail, and FREQUENTLY do. Don't let the o ly copy of an important photo or document live on a single external hard drive.
