CHRISTIANS VS MUSLIMS 1099 - The Battle of Jerusalem That Changed EVERYTHING
The First Crusade (1096-1099) is one of the most dramatic events of the Middle Ages. Pope Urban II called on Christians to liberate Jerusalem from the Muslims, and thousands of warriors set out across Europe and Asia Minor. The Siege of Nicaea, the Battle of Dorylaeum, the eight-month siege of Antioch, and finally the storming of sacred Jerusalem on July 15, 1099. This is a story of faith, war, betrayal, and cruelty that forever changed the world.
In this video, you will learn how 70,000 crusaders traveled thousands of kilometers, fought the Seljuks, suffered from hunger and thirst in the Anatolian desert, and finally captured the Holy City. Godfrey of Bouillon, Bohemond of Taranto, and Raymond of Toulouse—names that have become legends of medieval Europe.
