If you've just installed Windows 11 on your computer, you'll notice that you can't install your usual programs with .exe or .msi extensions downloaded from the internet, as Microsoft recommends installing applications from the Microsoft Store.

We can remove this restriction to install any program on our computer without getting the warning that the application hasn't been verified by Microsoft:

1. Click on "Start/Settings/Apps".

2. Go to "Advanced app settings".

3. In the "Choose where you get apps from" section, you'll see four options; in this case, choose "From anywhere".

There's no need to restart, and from now on, Windows 11 will let you install any type of program without any problems.
