Hi everyone! Welcome back to the CaseGuard Studio Training Course.
In this video, we will cover What’s New in CaseGuard 9.3.
0:13 Bulk Processing
Our biggest change for this release was the bulk processing functionality as well as the watcher. With Bulk Processing, you can redact an unlimited number of files at once. Bulk processing is available for all media types, including videos, audio, documents, and images.
With the 9.3 update, you can now run multiple functions at once. This includes redacting video and audio, transcribing and translating audio, as well as burning captions in both the file’s original language or one of the 92 languages now offered for translation. Notice that functions that don’t work together are disabled.
You can now use Find & Redact lists to redact your audio files. Simply select Find & Redact List from the Redaction Type dropdown menu.
Then, select an existing list from the dropdown menu or create a new one by clicking the plus icon. You can also choose to add redaction reasons, adjust the file’s volume, or remove extra noise before continuing to the next page.
For Bulk Document Redaction, you can also run multiple functions together, and the functions that don’t work together will be disabled.
Please note that we have removed the Merge File tool from Bulk Processing and relocated it to the left Toolbar for easier access.
2:05 The Watcher
Continuing on with the Watcher, we have improved the user experience by upgrading the Wizard. Set up your Watcher by selecting your input and output folders, then click next. Choose what you would like to redact with this Watcher.
Now as with bulk processing, you can run multiple functions together, redact video, audio, and burn captions. Once applied, your Watcher is ready for use, visible in the Watcher Panel.
2:38 Video Redaction
Let’s move on to what’s new in video redaction. An exciting new feature in this release is the ability to run AI automatic detection and redaction on text within your video. You might notice that the AI wizard looks a little different, our developers have worked hard to provide you with a new and more intuitive design for easier use.
3:03 Audio Redaction
Let’s talk about some of the changes we made to the audio tools. Click AI Audio. We have added more than 50 new transcription languages and users now have the ability to transcribe channels separately. It's now easier than ever to edit your transcription. Simply highlight the text, right-click, and you have the ability to move it to the previous or following sentence.
Additionally, we have added over 40 new translation languages. To translate your file, click automatic translation.
3:35 Document Redaction
Moving on to Document redaction. You can now use all available document redaction tools for .TXT files By popular demand, we have added 5 pre-defined Find & Redact Lists for Court records, HIPAA and medical release forms, OSHA, Insurance, and Tax Forms You can customize these pre-defined lists to suit your needs better as you would any other Find & Redact List by going to the List Manager and clicking the Pencil icon.
For unlimited AI Text Analysis at no extra cost, try using the new Local AI Model. When you are sorting data in the Analytics Panel, you can now sort by word or phrase. You might have noticed that the Manual Redaction tool is missing from the Toolbar. We have combined the Find & Redact option with Manual Redaction, allowing you to redact in a more streamlined way, without having to jump between tools as often.
4:45 Image Redaction
A quick update on image redaction, you now have the ability to remove images from existing albums.
4:57 New Themes
We have also added 3 additional themes to CaseGuard Studio. We now have Light, Dark, Metallic Blue, Dark High Contrast, Light High Contrast, and Cherry Blossom.
