Using Envato with IFTTT Tutorial
IFTTT is a service that lets you create powerful connections with one simple statement "IF THIS THEN THAT". So basically its an app that does something if "this" (replace your thingy here) happens.
This tutorial will show you how to create automatic social media posts when an item of yours get approved in the envato marketplaces. (I'm sure a lot of developers does this, its quite hard for other creatives to do the same, so i think this method will help them a lot). :)
Story behind this:
I've known this service for about/more than a year now, but i didn't use it much earlier. When i became active in youtube i had an idea the day before yesterday "what if i could integrate this service to my envato marketplace items?" and then i carried out an experiment and it was successful, so here in this video you can see my results and also use this information to make your own :)
What i've done with IFTTT:
When an item is approved to my portfolio in the marketplaces, a post/tweet will be automatically posted at the same time when it gets approved.
And so it saves hell of a time for me and stops wasting time posting here and there while marketing of my products are done as usual :)
