📌 History of Sertanejo Music:
📌 Fourth Era - University Sertanejo
📌 Attentive, the recording industry launched a similar movement in the 2000s, called by some "university sertanejo," with names like Cristiano Araújo, Eduardo Costa, Guilherme e Santiago, Maria Cecília e Rodolfo, João Bosco e Vinícius, César Menotti e Fabiano, Jorge e Mateus, Jads e Jadson, Victor e Leo, Ana Castela, Marília Mendonça, Lauana Prado, Simone Mendes, Henrique e Juliano, Fernando e Sorocaba, Simone e Simaria, Gusttavo Lima, Luan Santana, Felipe Araújo, Michel Teló, Maiara e Maraisa, Marcos and Belutti, Thaeme and Thiago, Paula Fernandes, Gustavo Mioto, Lucas Lucco, Jefferson Moraes, Wesley Safadão, Enzo Rabelo, Hugo Henrique, Léo Magalhães, Thiago Brava, Gabriel Gava, Humberto and Ronaldo, Panda, Ícaro and Gilmar, Clayton and Romário, Hugo and Guilherme, Diego and Victor Hugo, Bruno and Marrone, Bruno and Barretto, Antony and Gabriel, Zé Neto and Cristiano, Cleber and Cauan, Conrado and Aleksandro, Fred and Gustavo, Zé Ricardo and Thiago, Matheus and Kauan, Henrique and Diego, Israel Novaes, Naiara Azevedo, Munhoz and Mariano, Guilherme and Benuto, Loubet, João Neto and Frederico. As this movement continues to gain more and more followers, the market, which previously focused on the emergence of country music duos and artists in the state of Goiás, is now electing new idols from the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, such as the school revelation Luan Santana and the duo Maria Cecília and Rodolfo. However, Goiás has not failed to produce names on the national scene, including the aforementioned Jorge e Mateus and João Neto e Frederico, Cristiano Araújo, not to mention artists linked to the more mainstream sertanejo music of the previous decade, such as Guilherme e Santiago, Bruno e Marrone, Edson e Hudson, Rionegro e Solimões, Milionário e José Rico, Zezé Di Camargo e Luciano, Trio Parada Dura, Gian e Giovani, Hugo Pena e Gabriel, César Menotti e Fabiano, Di Paullo e Paulino, Matogrosso e Mathias, João Mineiro e Marciano, João Paulo e Daniel, Leandro e Leonardo, Chitãozinho e Xororó, Sérgio Reis, Almir Sater, Renato Teixeira, Roberta Miranda, Rick e Renner, Victor e Leo, Cézar e Paulinho, Gilberto e Gilmar, Duduca e Dalvan, Lourenço e Lourival, among others.
