How to Hide Your Website Header and Footer on a Specific Pages in Squarespace
Since the new update in 2025, managing visibility of your header and footer structure has become super ease!
But when would you even need this feature? Removing unnecessary navigation is perfect when you don’t want people clicking around and leaving the specific pages like:
1. Sales pages
If you’re driving people to a sales page from an ad or email and you don’t want them clicking away… strip it down. No nav. No footer. Just the offer. Eyes on the prize.
2. Opt-in / Lead capture pages
Same vibe as sales pages. If you want someone to download the freebie, book the call, or sign up for the thing, you don’t want them bouncing around getting nosy about your About page. This is a one-action-only zone.
3. Coming soon / waitlist pages
If a product or service isn't live yet, and you're just collecting interest? No need for all the extras. You want to keep them focused on one task.

Go to the page you want to edit
Click the ⚙️ settings icon
under Page Settings select Navigation
