LMTools - How to remove hung license using lmremove command (with NX software)
How do we return hung license. Hung license means the license is stucked with one of the client machine and is not able to be return to the license server. The hung license cannot be use by anyone even though you have the license
For your information, this video is not done spontaneously, simply because we cannot predict when the license will be hung. Therefore, this is a voice-over video, when the incident happens to me.
In the first portion of the video, I will show you how to check for hung license by using the command prompt. Actually you also can use LMTOOLS, which is the default license server tools to navigator for the license status. But sometimes LMTOOLS gives misleading information (in the sense that the hung license cannot be shown), if the license server works with multiple license daemon at the same time. And thus, I was forced to use command prompt to check the license status.
