CPU & RAM with VST Plugins?
Just thought I would share my experiences with CPU and RAM usage when producing and mixing music!
This might not be applicable to everyone and every DAW, but thought I would share in the hope that it might help someone who has experienced a similar situation as myself, with high RAM and CPU usage when using certain plug-ins.
Main point of this, keep an eye on your task manager when using 3rd party plugins! Observe how they are using system resources in certain situations and you may be able to mitigate some of the demanding load.
Not in every situation, but the extra insight has helped me to identify peculiar behaviour and ways to keep the system optimised for better performance.
Besides that the video is just a bit of fun.
