Orléans - August 12, 1951 - 9:30 a.m., Yvonne Chevallier has just suddenly shot her husband five times with a revolver in their luxurious downtown apartment.
The central thread of the narrative is the investigation led by Gaëlle Saulé-Mercier, the investigator (and author).
This is a documentary with a personal touch; the investigator is on screen, at the crime scenes, in the archives, at the trial, etc., in her interviews, and while she is reviewing documents.
Like a detective film, we follow the investigator's inquiries step by step.
