Electro Harmonix HOG Demonstration
Here I do a quick demonstration of the Electro Harmonix HOG pedal. I have the complete setup for it including the footswitch and expression pedal. The footswitch is HIGHLY recommended because once you have a sound you want, it's VERY difficult to find it again if you haven't saved it. I don't go into a whole lot of detail because there are better reviews than mine out there. I just wanted to show you some of the stuff that I use it for and perhaps I explain something that some other reviews missed. For everyone's clarification, this isn't a "synthesizer" pedal in that it converts your signal into square or saw waves. It uses the term "synthesizer" loosely based on the fact that you can use a synth envelope from the expression pedal and perform some very nice glissando effects with it. More accurately, it's a very well designed octave pedal.
