Mi Fire Bowfell Multi Fuel Stove - False Chimney Breast Installation
Here we have tapped into an existing chimney, built into the wall of a property.
After removing the existing multi fuel stove and sweeping the chimney. We have fitted a new 904L grade stainless steel flue liner (Mi-Flex)
replaced tiled hearth with Brazilian slate, cut, bevelled, edge polished and treated on site to suite installation.
Built false chimney breast using metal stud work and sts construction, A1 fire rated concrete fibre board, finished with a smooth plater finishing. Making an entirely fireproof, non combustible chimney breast.
Inside the chamber we have installed a oyster, spitfaced slate tiled chamber kit.
Using vitreous enamel connecting flue joints and a 2 piece, inspectable closure plate made from 1.5mm galvanised steel, we have installed the highly economical Mi Fire Bowfell Multi fuel burning stove.
To finish of the chimney breast we have installed a light oak effect, fully non combustible geocast mantel beam, with downlight kit.
One stunning transformation.
