This project demonstrates the processing of square wave signals from an incremental encoder to convert them to RPM and angular position using Simulink software. Many controllers typically have libraries available for this task; however, in Simulink, this goal cannot always be achieved with predefined libraries, so it is best to devise a way to do it ourselves. Furthermore, the procedure used here can be easily programmed in other software.
