Contact Form to Support Ticket Outside of WHMCS Installation via API w Custom Fields & Example
I'll show you how to get your contact form that is located outside of the WHMCS installation folder to pass the information into WHMCS's support ticket system using their internal API. This is great if you do not want to just link your website visitors to the Open Ticket URL in WHMCS, which can negatively impact your conversion rate (eg. too many fields to fill out and may not flow with the sales flow of your website). I'll also show you how to set it up so you can pass custom variables from your contact form into WHMCS.
I've spent hours on this so hopefully it will save you some time and I have included the code discussed in the video below so you can just copy and paste.
