DocxCraft — open and edit Word and Excel files on Android
DocxCraft opens .docx and .xlsx files on your phone and lets you edit them
without wrecking the formatting.
Everything in this video is the real app running on a real phone — the pages,
the ribbon, the table being inserted and the totals recalculating are all
recorded on device, not animated.
What it does
• Opens Word documents as real pages, with the document's own fonts, margins,
headings and numbering
• Opens Excel workbooks with live formulas — around 130 functions, recalculated
across the workbook as soon as a cell changes
• Insert tables, pictures and links; resize and place pictures anywhere
• Opens files read-only by default, so tapping a document from another app
cannot change it by accident. One tap unlocks editing
• Saves back to the original file format. The parts of the file you did not
touch are written back byte for byte, so styles, headers and everything else
survive the round trip
What it does not do
• No account, no sign-in
• No ads
• No network permission at all — nothing is uploaded, because the app cannot
upload anything
